The New Earth Festival, which began in 1974, is held on the fourth weekend in September. With over 600 vendors displaying fine art, crafts, antiques, food and more, you can see why this charming small town draws crowds of more than 80,000 people!  Remember to mark your calendars for this once a year event. Water Grant

We are excited to announce that the Town of Atlanta has been awarded a $700,000.00 grant through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA), to make improvements to our water distribution system as well as town wells and treatment facilities.

Community Bench Project

At this time we are no longer taking caps but we would like to say a big "Thank You" to everyone who participated in the Community Bench Project. Several people and organizations were a part of this project to help make it a success. We have collected enough caps for 4 benches.
